Course Description:
A course to help you understand all the legal requirements and gain the practical know-how to maintain underground and aboveground storage tanks and how report leaks.
"Will your underground tank systems pass inspection? Under the 2005 Energy Bill, every state must prove to the USEPA that every tank system has been inspected since December 1998. States are getting the regulations and funding together to do an "Inspection Blitz" before August 2007. Some states, like New York, Connecticut and Maryland have already started.
Learn what you can do to get your tanks in compliance before the State catches up with you. If you are considering switching to aboveground tanks, this course will also give you the basics on design, installation, operations and maintenance."
