Course Description
Are you one of the many safety, health, and environmental professionals that are assuming facility and/or corporate security roles and responsibilities? Security Programs for Chemical Facilities is specifically designed to provide you, the safety and health and/or security professional, the knowledge, tools, and training experience to implement practical and effective security measures that support the overall business mission of your facilities.
Security and safety are similar; yet different; the effective assessment, implementation, and management of a security program requires a broad, security-specific knowledge base. This three-day workshop hits the mark on what you must know to develop and maintain your security management skills.
The key to facility protection is to implement credible security risk management methodologies. To do this, you must identify and implement cost-effective security solutions and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
The instructors teaching this workshop have extensive operational security experience so you will get practical knowledge and techniques that you can immediately apply.
This workshop provides a unique learning environment during three days of interactive classroom learning, exercises and off-site field trips that allow for a hands-on approach to security training.
You'll also receive a Resource CD that contains beneficial materials such as:
