Course Description
- Detailed review and interpretation of the requirements of ISO/TS 16949
- Quality systems - An introduction and explanation of quality management, quality management systems and a presentation of quality vocabulary and the TS16949 standard
- Audits - An explanation of audits, their purpose and planning, and the way to approach, perform and report an audit
- Auditors - responsibilities, personal attributes and auditor selection
- Auditing tools – The various tools that are available to assist auditors
- Core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC)
- Interactive exercises and workshops
- A written examination to verify the participant's understanding of the standard and the core tools

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be qualified to:
- Perform effective internal quality audits of a company's quality management system and reporting the outcome
- Understand the TS 16949 standard
- Audit a company's quality management system and determine whether or not it meets the requirements of the TS16949 standard and the customer specific requirements
