- Supplier performance metrics, risk to the customer
- Review of formal quality management system requirements - purchasing
- Extent of control
- QMS systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100 and TS 16949, new revision changes ISO 9001 ( 2008/9 )
- Review of a comprehensive supply chain management system for new part – product – component introduction
- Initiation of the new part introduction – request. Engineering design involvement. Categories of risk. Design FMEA, etc.
- Supply quality engineer duties
- Involvement of Sample PO – sample part approval
- Supplier responsibilities
Part 2: Effective and Efficient Methods for a Customer & Supplier Management Program
- Program and product procurement requirements placed with the supplier
